Four kinds of work
Every service here is work we do on the Australian end — sourcing, verifying, coordinating. We are not the importer, and we don't take title to goods we broker.
Sourcing
You give us the product, specification, quantity and target price. We find suppliers at whichever end makes sense, compare them and come back with a shortlist and real numbers. Usually where a relationship starts.
Inspection & factory visits
Being local is the service. We go and look at the goods or the plant, photograph and film what we find, and send samples. Not something that can be done remotely.
Negotiation & communication
Language, commercial custom and the rhythm of a negotiation, understood on both sides. Most misunderstandings between a Chinese supplier and an Australian buyer are not about price.
Logistics & documentation coordination
Consolidation, working with freight forwarders and customs brokers, preparing the paperwork the process needs. We coordinate and assist — the declaration and the import stay with the party responsible for them.
Who this is for
- Buyers in China looking for Australian suppliers and needing someone here to find and check them
- Brands entering the Chinese market that need a reliable partner at the Australian end
- Companies that need goods, a factory or a shipment physically inspected in either country
What we don't do
- Act as, or lend, an importer of record
- Guarantee customs clearance or promise a duty-inclusive outcome
- Collect or disburse payments on behalf of others
- Split a commercial shipment into many small parcels under different names
Australian goods, posted direct
We also send Australian retail products — supplements, infant formula and other local brands — direct to recipients in China in personal quantities, bought through normal Australian retail channels with proof of purchase available.
Goods are Australian domestic retail versions. Import duties, taxes and compliance in the destination country are the responsibility of the recipient, who must be the end user. Delivery times are given as a range and exclude customs examination.
How we charge
- Service fee — for a defined piece of work such as an inspection or a sourcing brief
- Commission — a percentage of the transaction we've brokered
- Margin — where we buy and resell in our own name, in Australia
Which model applies depends on the project. We agree it in writing before anything starts.
