Last updated: 7 September 2026. These documents apply to hytrading.com.au and to business conducted by Hongyuan International Group Pty Ltd (ABN 40 614 750 202), trading as HY / Hytrading ("we", "us"). Questions: info@hytrading.com.au.
1. Privacy Policy
What we collect. When you use an enquiry form or email us we receive the details you provide: typically your name, business name, ABN, email address, phone number and the content of your enquiry. Our website host records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested). We use aggregate, cookie-free visit statistics; we do not run advertising cookies or trackers.
Why we collect it. To answer your enquiry, prepare quotations, supply goods and services, issue tax invoices, meet our legal and accounting obligations, and keep a record of our dealings with you. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
Who else handles it. Your information is stored in our business email and document systems (Google Workspace) and passes through our website host and content network (Cloudflare). Where you place an order, freight carriers receive the delivery details needed to deliver it. These providers may store data outside Australia.
How long we keep it. Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful to our relationship with you. Transaction records are kept for at least the period required by Australian tax law.
Your rights. You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email info@hytrading.com.au. We aim to respond within 1 business day.
We are a small business under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles as a matter of good practice.
2. Website Terms of Use
Content on this site is provided for general information. Product specifications, availability and lead times change; nothing on this site is an offer to supply at a particular price. Any price shown or quoted on this site is indicative only — a written quotation or tax invoice from us prevails over anything on this site.
External links, including to our eBay storefront, are provided for convenience; those sites have their own terms. Product names, part numbers and brand names referred to on this site belong to their respective owners and are used to identify compatibility or equivalence only; unless stated otherwise, we are not an authorised distributor of those brands.
We try to keep this site accurate and available but do not guarantee that it is error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on information on this site. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
3. Wholesale & Dropship Supply Terms
Application. These terms apply to the supply of goods by us to business customers ("you") for resale or business use, whether by wholesale order or dropship despatch. By placing an order you accept these terms. Where you are a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law, the consumer guarantees apply and nothing here limits them.
Quotation and order. We quote against your stated requirement. Price and quantity are confirmed in writing before a tax invoice is issued; the invoice is the order confirmation and governs over earlier correspondence. Specifications are confirmed at order; you are responsible for checking that the specification on the invoice is what you require.
Prices and payment. Prices are in Australian dollars, exclusive of GST and freight unless stated. Payment is by bank transfer against the tax invoice, prior to despatch. Account terms are available to government and approved trade buyers by agreement. We may change trade prices for future orders; the price on an issued invoice is not affected.
Delivery and risk. Goods from stock are despatched from Sydney within 1 business day of cleared payment; goods sourced to order are despatched on the lead time stated in the quotation. Delivery dates are estimates. Risk in the goods passes to you (or, for dropship orders, to your customer) on delivery by the carrier. Title passes on payment in full.
Dropship orders. Goods are despatched white-label under your name, without our invoice or branding. You are responsible for the description, price and terms you offer your own customers and for handling their enquiries; we support you with stock availability, despatch and tracking.
Returns and claims. Please inspect goods on receipt and tell us within 7 days of any shortage or damage. Goods that are faulty or not as invoiced will be replaced, credited or refunded at our option. Returns of goods correctly supplied are by prior agreement only and may attract a restocking charge. Nothing in this clause limits the Australian Consumer Law where it applies.
Liability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the supply of goods is limited to the replacement of the goods or the refund of the price paid, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit. Where a statutory guarantee applies and cannot be excluded, our liability is limited as that statute permits.
4. Cross-Border Service Terms
Our role. For sourcing, inspection, negotiation and logistics coordination between Australia and China we act as a service provider. Unless we expressly agree in writing to sell goods to you in our own name, we do not take title to goods, we are not the exporter or importer of record, and we do not make customs declarations on anyone's behalf. Freight forwarders and customs brokers engaged in a transaction act for the party that engages them.
Scope and fees. The scope of each engagement, and whether we charge a service fee, a commission or a margin, is agreed in writing before work starts. Fees are payable as agreed; commission is payable on completion of the transaction to which it relates.
Goods from Australia. Goods we purchase in Australia for despatch overseas are Australian domestic retail versions. They are not registered, labelled or certified for any other market, and we make no representation that they meet the regulatory requirements of the destination country. Proof of purchase can be provided on request.
Import obligations. Import duties, taxes, permits, product registration, labelling and all other regulatory requirements in the destination country are the responsibility of the buyer or recipient. For personal-use consignments the recipient must be the end user. We do not guarantee customs clearance and do not offer duty-inclusive or "clearance guaranteed" terms.
Delivery times. Any delivery time we give for an international consignment is an estimate, excludes time spent in customs examination, and is not a term of the engagement.
Liability. Our liability under a service engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for loss arising from the acts of suppliers, carriers, brokers or authorities, or from goods being held, examined, rejected or destroyed by a customs authority.
